Last Thursday, 8 October, 42 Madrid Fundación Telefónica celebrated seven years since the opening of its campus in 2019.
Over this time, 42 Madrid has established itself as a technology training hub built around a different learning methodology: peer-to-peer learning, hands-on projects, gamification and solving real-world challenges, with the aim of helping each student learn not only technology, but also how to adapt to a constantly evolving sector.
Over these seven years, more than 7,600 participants have taken part in its Piscines, more than 3,000 people have started the Common Core, and 291 students have completed this stage.
The campus continues to evolve with new projects and specialisations in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data and software development, while maintaining the same philosophy: learning by doing and collaborating.
The anniversary was also an opportunity to bring the 42 Madrid community together for a day of activities, including a new edition of the Coalitions Party, one of the gamification elements that forms part of the campus experience.
From 42 Madrid Fundación Telefónica, we would like to thank everyone who has been part of these seven years and who continues to contribute to building a community ready to take on the technological challenges of today and tomorrow.
